We’ve worked with fertility doctors to develop vitamins to support fertility. Thanks to our well-researched formulas, we have chosen nutrients that ensure maximum absorption.
+fertimen contains optimal doses of 11 high-quality essential nutrients, including folic acid, Coenzyme 10, selenium, arginine, carnitine and taurine.
Contains no milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, nuts, soya, peanuts, wheat yeast, gluten, maize, sodium, sugar, starch, artificial colourings, preservatives or flavourings.
Our +ferti range uses 5-MTHF folate (not synthetic folic acid), which is the most bioavailable folate available for food supplements. This formula ensures maximum absorption. Read our article to find out more.
Folic acid concerns both women and men. The results of two independent studies suggest that high doses of supplemental folate may help the body reduce the negative effects of environmental pollutants on fertility. It is also described as the vitamin of life.
Higher intakes of 5-MTHF have been correlated with a reduced risk of infertility, shorter time to pregnancy, lower risk of miscarriage and better results from fertility treatments.

Selenium is important for male fertility because it is a powerful antioxidant known to stabilise the integrity of sperm flagella. Scientists have found that selenium deficiency can lead to reduced sperm quality, which is why it is important for men to optimise their selenium intake if they wish to conceive.
While most prenatal vitamin supplements use vitamin D from an animal source (lamb’s wool), our +ferti range has been designed with vitamin D carefully extracted from seaweed to provide an easily absorbable vegan form of vitamin D3. Made with Vita-algae D, a sustainable, vegan form of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).
Male infertility is the cause of conception failure in up to 80% of cases, mainly due to oxidative stress and poor sperm quality. An Italian study has shown that the vitamin E content in the blood of infertile men is much lower than that of fertile men. Low concentrations of vitamin E were correlated with morphologically abnormal and less mobile spermatozoa.
Oxidative stress and an inadequate intake of vitamin E should therefore be avoided, particularly in cases of existing reduced fertility or to optimise fertility when trying to have children.
An increased intake of vitamin E can significantly increase fertility in both men and women.

Arginine is one of the 20 amino acids that make up our proteins.
Taking L-Arginine is beneficial for both male and female fertility. It is often recommended for couples trying to conceive. It helps the body produce nitric oxide, which promotes blood flow to the genitals and ovaries.
This is an amino acid that can improve sperm development, produce better sperm and increase their number and motility.
Carnitine is present in very high concentrations in the epididymides, which store and transport sperm. Carnitine could protect spermatozoa from oxidative damage and could therefore improve sperm quality. The results of a study involving 52 men with idiopathic infertility confirm this hypothesis: the subjects were divided into two groups and given either clomiphene (an anti-oestrogenic drug) or 2g of L-carnitine a day for three months. Both substances increased sperm count and motility.

Taurine, an amino acid, is thought to play an essential role in sperm production.
The results of a study by the University of Tsukuba and Cornell University show that it is this amino acid, produced naturally in the male genital tract, that plays an essential role in the ability of spermatozoa to ‘swim’ through the female reproductive tract.
Scientific studies now confirm that coenzyme Q10 supplementation can significantly improve sperm parameters.
Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant that is essential for protecting the body from damage caused by free radicals. It is present in the mitochondria (the energy centres of cells), in the blood and in cell membranes.
2 Alahmar AT et al. Coenzyme Q10 improves sperm parameters, oxidative stress markers and sperm DNA fragmentation in infertile patients with idiopathic oligoasthenozoospermia. World J Mens Health 2021;39:346-51.
Vitamin B12 ensures balanced, high-quality sex hormones. Sufficient levels of this vitamin may help to keep spermatozoa plentiful and functional.
Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant for men and women who want to become parents. Studies have shown that taking vitamin C is effective in stimulating fertility.
According to a study published in ‘The Journal of Fertility and Sterility’, vitamin C helps to improve sperm quality and prevents degradation of the DNA contained in sperm.
According to several comparative studies, zinc has been found to have an effect on male reproductive health. This trace element is very present in the male genital tract, as it plays a key role in the synthesis of sperm (spermatogenesis) and testosterone. Studies have shown a significant increase in testosterone production and sperm mobility in men who have benefited from zinc supplementation.
If you are planning to have children in the near future or are trying to have a baby, we recommend you take our +ferti food supplement.
Our dietary supplement has been carefully developed based on studies that reflect the latest research in fertility and conception. The development of the formula was led by our certified gynaecologist and obstetrician, Dr Alexandra Fischer-Stoca.
To guarantee optimum impact, the dosage of each ingredient has been meticulously calculated according to the latest medical research data.
+ferti capsules are formulated with premium, highly bioavailable ingredients, including key vitamins and nutrients for maximum effectiveness and potency. These include folate 5-MTHF, chelated iron ferrous bisglycinate and vegan-sourced Vita algen vitamin D3.
5-MTHF folate is the most abundant folate present in the human body. It is found naturally in food, but is more easily absorbed from food supplements. MTHF folate is the most bioavailable folate found in food supplements. It can be used immediately by your body and does not need to be converted by the enzyme methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR). Up to 25% of the population has a variant in the MTHFR gene (MTHFR 677TT) which significantly impairs its ability to metabolise folic acid. Research is still preliminary, but people with the MTHFR 677TT variant are likely to benefit from MTHF folate supplementation rather than folic acid supplementation.
While most dietary supplements use vitamin D from lamb’s wool, our vitamin D is carefully extracted from seaweed to provide an easily absorbable vegan form of vitamin D3.
Every day: take 2 capsules a day, either in a single dose or one in the morning and one in the evening.
It’s up to you! We find it easier to remember when you take them all at once. But some people prefer to take one in the morning and the rest at bedtime.
